Lowell, MA
Mill City History
Lowell was built as a planned textile-mill city in the 1820s, and its brick mill buildings and canal system are preserved today as part of Lowell National Historical Park. Much of the surrounding housing dates from that mill-era boom, with older triple-deckers and worker housing still common. We reface and build cabinets for Lowell kitchens, working carefully around the original woodwork in these older homes.
