Harvard’s town center still carries the Federal and Greek Revival architecture of its Shaker Village days, when a community of Shakers settled here in the 1790s and built structures you can now see preserved at the nearby Fruitlands Museum. The old Harvard Center area has a similar collection of older homes around it.
